GET INVOLVED!

Below, find ideas for random acts of kindness that you can perform for the law enforcement officers in your community and state!
Write a "thank you" note.

Take some time to write down a few words of gratitude to those who help keep us safe. Some days, police officers hear criticism more often than they hear words of kindness, so a simple gesture like this can go a long way. Find the address for police departments in your area here: http://www.usacops.com/

Do something nice.

Have a few extra dollars? Pick up a gift certificate to the local coffee shop and drop it off to your local PD, or call in a pizza to send to them. Have leftover holiday cards or decorations? Bring them to the station and spread some cheer. Police officers work 24/7, 365, and often miss out on holidays with family. Remind them that they are not forgotten on those special days.

Smile and Say Hello.

The next time you pass a police officer doing a detail, rather than just drive by, take a minute to smile and wave. If you see a police officer out in the community and it seems okay to do so, say hello and thank them for their efforts to better our world. Totally free, and 100% appreciated.

Hashtag It. #policepositivityproject

Help spread the word about our random acts of kindness initiative! When you go out and do something in line with this mission, spread the word! Share your kind gesture on social media and let your friends know that they can do the same!
